
Randy Acock, P.E.

Mr. Acock is a graduate of the University of Texas, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering. He became a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas in June, 1980 and started Acock Engineering that same year.
- Mr. Acock began his oil & gas career with Amoco Production Company in 1972.
- As District Engineer, he was responsible for 15 engineers involved in drilling, completion, workover and production activities in 41 South Texas counties.
- He has been personally involved with more than 160 horizontal wells, and has consulted on deep (20,000+), critical, high pressure drilling operations in South Texas and Louisiana.
- He is an active member in the SPE, AAPG, and API.

Frank Jaap

Mr. Jaap is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering and holds a second degree with a double major in Math and Physics. Mr. Jaap joined Acock Engineering in 2004.
- Mr. Jaap has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Served as Production & Drilling Manager and was responsible for all company operations from drilling through completion and production to abandonment.
- Mr. Jaap has been responsible for supervising engineers and field personal along the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast, and Texas state waters.
- Drilled & completed vertical and directional high pressure wells to depths of (17,000+)’
- An active member of SPE and the API.

Gary Brumley
V.P. Operations |

Mr. Brumley graduated from Stephen F. Austin in 1972 and joined the Acock Engineering team in 1996, working as a consultant and marketing manager.
- Mr. Brumley has worked domestically and internationally, both onshore and offshore in the Oil and Gas Industry for 32 years.
- Mr. Brumley provides project engineering, operations management and specialized field supervision for drilling, completion, workover, and production operations conducted by Acock personnel on vertical, directional, and horizontal normal/abnormal pressure oil and gas/condensate wells.

Wendy Jaap

Wendy Jaap joined Acock Engineering in 2001 as Vice President of Administration.
- Mrs. Jaap has a broad background in sales, management, and Human Resources.
- Mrs. Jaap has years of experience in contract administration in the petroleum industry and other facets of the private sector.
- Mrs. Jaap is responsible for the business management and everyday activities of Acock Engineering.

Jason Melton
Vice President
Marketing/Sales

Mr. Melton is a graduate of Texas State Technical College with a Degree in Occupational Safety & Health.

Proven ability to develop sales potential in market area , combined with the ability to coordinate the efforts of many to meet organizational skills, or requirements of an organization.

In 2008, Mr.Melton joined Acock Engineering to improve client relationships and develop new business. He will help sustain and improve our client base and consultant status. He is stationed out of San Antonio and will be visiting the area offices and consultants.

Jed Vogelpohl
Project Coordinator

Jed Vogelpohl is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Communication.
- Jed is responsible for scheduling of consultants and fostering client relationships. He works very closely with our marketing team to assure our clients get the most qualified consultant for the project. He also works closely with our Engineering department.

With over 10 years of managerial experience, he is partnering with the marketing team and responsible for the business development and consulting side of the company.

Alyssa Wise

Alyssa Wise joined Acock Engineering in August 2008

Ms. Wise is support to our engineering & consultant staff. She is responsible for account receivables/invoicing and additional accounting duties. She is also involved in special projects for engineering and marketing.
